Hello,
This past Sunday round 11 of P27 Off-Road was held at MX338 in Southwick, MA. Round 9 of NETRA was also held in West Greenwich, RI. The rain held off for as long as it could but by mid-afternoon it was coming down. The track at Southwick was really nice with the rain and the NETRA quickly became a mudder. Visibility was an issue at both races.
Team Riders:
Brandon Gregoire #913 – Pro Sportsman & AA – Brandon was on rails. Really, really fast rails. In
Sportsman he made a mistake and crossed the finish line over a minute behind the leader on lap one. At the end of the race he crossed the line over 3 minutes ahead of second. In AA Brandon crossed the finish line leading every lap. Even with 4 goggle changes. One of them he rode back to his truck to get! Brandon finished 1st in Pro Sportsman and 1st in AA.
Kyle Sackett #253 – C Vet – I had a good start and was running towards the top 5 when I hit a root that I didn’t see and high sided. Luckily my head broke my fall. It took me a minute to get going but I got back to racing and had some good battles with a few friends. I finished 9th.
Lucas Caron #513 – A 250 – Lucas had a great race. Decent start and kept pushing forward to gain a few positions. During the 2 hours and 36 minutes that he was on the track, the conditions went from awesome to nasty. He said that there was not an inch of his body or gear that wasn’t completely soaked. Lucas finished 4th.
