2023 - J Day Round 11

Hello,

Another great day of racing on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The race was at The Sandbox in

Rumney, NH and it offered a little of all conditions. The start was dry and dusty, the moto track was

deep sand, and the woods had slippery roots, fast cart roads, and a couple bottomless mud pits.

Team Riders:

Brandon Gregoire #913 – Pro 125 & AA – Brandon had a great day and really showed his speed and skill on his 125. It was actually the only bike he raced all day because the 250 is in the middle of some setup testing. Even with a few mistakes in the mud and being on a small bore, Brandon did awesome. In Pro 125 he went 2-1 for 1st overall and in AA he went 5-7 for 6th overall.

Nate Marr #84 – A Open – Nate looked like he was on rails. Very quick and very steady through the

woods. It really looked effortless. It was a fun race to watch for sure. He finished 2-3 for 1st overall.

Colton McQuarrie #34 – Supermini – Colton had a good ride. This track was very hard for the smaller bikes in a lot of areas. Colton had trouble in a few spots, but he kept it pinned and finished 3-3 for 3rd overall.

Jon Gagnon #105 – A Vet – Jon’s results don’t show the effort that he put in. In both motos he was

making passes and moving up. And in both motos he made a mistake, went down, and had to start

doing the work all over again. Jon finished 9-8 for 9th overall.

Jared Drouin #333 – A Vet – Jared’s race was pretty similar to Jon’s. They were usually pretty close to

each other on the track for the most part. Jared finished 10-11 for 10th overall.

Kyle Sackett #253 – C Vet – I feel like I made good line choices and rode well in the first moto. Things seemed to flow, and I had plenty of energy. In the second moto I made a bad line choice on lap 1 that resulted in me getting stuck on my own foot…I don’t know how exactly. On lap 2 I got stuck in a rut so badly I had to deadlift the bike out of the rut and try the section again. Then I used up all my energy trying to gain positions back. I finished 5-8 for 6th overall.
