Hello,
I hope you're having a great day so far. This past Sunday the LBR Moto riders found themselves in Johnsonville, NY for round 5 of the 2022 J Day Off-Road Series. Luckily the rain held off all weekend and the track shaped up for some great racing. This has been the first race of the season that's been strictly woods with no motocross sections. Team Riders: Nate Marr - Pro 125 / A Open - #84 - On a track with as many roots and ruts as this one, it's hard to race a 125. Nate keeps working and keeps learning different techniques and skills on the small bore in the A class. Nate finished 9-10 for 9th overall. Nate has been riding the bigger 250 for quite a while and he is really getting the pace of the front runners. He finished 4-7 for 5th overall. Jon Gagnon - A Vet - #105 - In the first moto, Jon got a great start and was running 3rd but a little trouble figuring out the track and a mistake towards the end cost him a few positions. Uncharacteristic of Jon, he got a bad start in the second moto and went into the woods almost last. He put his head down and fought the rough track as hard as he could but he didn't get the moto result he was after. Jon finished 7-11 for 9th overall. Jared Drouin - B Vet - #333 - Jared has been finding his stride during these last couple of races and he is riding really well. While he didn't get the greatest starts in his motos, he rode very consistent and despite the ruts and roots everywhere, it looked like he was on rails. Jared finished 5-5 for 5th overall. Support Riders: Colton McQuarrie - Mini A - #34 - At this point I'm loosing track of the number of moto wins the Colton has earned. Riding his heart out as always anddoing what he loves to do, Colton finished 1-1 for 1st overall. Cory Desrochers - B Vet - #556 - Cory's starts have been excellent lately and this weekend proved no different. He battled up front for most of the race but some mistakes late in each moto cost him some positions. Cory finished 9-8 for 9th overall. Thanks for reading!
