2022 J Day - Round 12

Hello, The J Day Off-Road Series made its way back to New Hampshire for round 12 of the series. The weather was beautiful at The Sandbox in Rumney, NH and it made for some great racing. Team Riders: Nate Marr - Pro 125 / A Open - #84 - After the shoulder injury that Nate suffered during round 11, he decided to sit out Pro 125 and focus on maintaining 3rd in points in A Open. Nate did a great job and was fast and smooth, despite being very sore. He finished 6-6 for 7th overall. Jon Gagnon - A Vet - #105 - Jon had a good day of racing. He had some good starts as usual and in moto 1 he was battling for a podium finish for a lot of the race until a small crash in the extreme section slowed him down. In moto 2 a little bit bigger crash in the woods held Jon up but he got up and got going again unharmed. Jon finished 5-8 for 6th overall. Jared Drouin - B Vet - #333 - Jared had an awesome day. He and the leader were on rails and they were in a class of their own. Jared hit all of his marks and stayed smooth and consistent. He finished 2-2 for 2nd overall. Kyle Sackett - C Vet - #253 - I really like this track and I have been looking forward to it all year. I also knew this would most likely be my last race of the season because I need to get things ready to head to Minnesota for snocross. The goal was to finally break the top 10. In moto 1 I got a mid-pack start and battled between 8th and 14th the whole moto. In mot 2 I had a pretty good start but I lost the front end after hitting a stump. I picked my bike up in dead last. On lap 1 I went from 29th to 19th, then on lap 2 I went from 19th to 14th, and I was able to pick off a couple more positions before the end of the race. I finished 9-12 for 9th overall. Finally broke the top 10. Bradley Drouin - PeeWee Squirt - #333 - Bradley's 5th race is in the books. He is not racing for position yet but he is on the track having fun and learning a lot of skills on the bike. Support Riders: Cory Desrochers - B Vet - #556 - Cory had a solid race. He finished 8-7 for 8th overall. Colton McQuarrie - Mini A - #34 - Colton had a great race and had to ring out his 85cc against a 105cc that recently bumped down from Super Mini. Colton finished 1-2 for 2nd overall. Thanks for reading!
