Hello,
The final stretch of the 2022 J Day Off-Road season is underway. The summer break is over and 4 rounds of racing remain. This past weekend the series traveled to Baldwinville, Massachusetts for round 11 at Crow hill MX. Here is how the racing played out.
Team Riders:
Nate Marr - Pro 125 / A Open - #84 - Nate had very strong first motos, finishing 13th in Pro 125 and 2nd in A Open. Unfortunately, Nate hit a rock at the top of a ridge line that upset the chassis of the bike. Nate ended up landing hard at the bottom of the ridge on his right shoulder and head. He got up and rode back to the pits on his own but that was the end of his day. He finished 12-13 for 13th overall in Pro 125 and 2-DNS for 14th overall in A Open.
Jon Gagnon - A Vet - #105 - Jon had a great day and got a big shot of confidence in the A class. He fought hard in both motos and was battling for podium contention with every lap. In the second moto he got the hole shot and lead the race for a while. Jon finished 5-4 for 5th overall.
Jared Drouin - B Vet - #333 - Jared also had an awesome race. His starts were good and his laps were very fast and consistent. 1 crash in moto 2 was really the only mistake the Jared made all day. He finished 3-6 for 5th overall.
Kyle Sackett - C Vet - #253 - I had so much fun knocking the rust off at the last race that I decided to line up again for this one. I struggled big time during the first few laps hovering right around 20th place. I put my head down and pushed. From then on, including the second moto, I battled and had a ton of fun. Still wasn't able to crack the top 10 but I am inching closer with my best result of 13-13 for 12th overall.
Bradley Drouin - PeeWee Squirt - #333 - Bradley successfully finished his 4th race with a big smile on his face. He is gaining confidence and learning skills each time he is on the track.
Support Riders:
Cory Desrochers - B Vet - #556 - Cory had great starts and got a huge hole shot in moto 1. He had a consistent race and finished 10-10 for 10th overall.
Colton McQuarrie - Mini A - #34 - Colton had his hands full this weekend and had some hard fought battles. He had a great race and landed on the podium. Colton finished 2-3 for 3rd overall.
