Good Morning,
This past Sunday during Memorial Day Weekend we found ourselves in Lyman Maine at MX207 for round 5 of the J Day Off-Road Series. With rain in the area all weekend no one was sure exactly how the track would holdup. Luckily the conditions were better than expected and we all made the most of it on race day.
Team Riders:
Jon Gagnon - A Vet - #105 - In his second race since moving up to the A Vet class, Jon found his way to the podium. He battled from start to finished and ended up finishing 5-3 for 3rd overall.
Jared Drouin - B Vet - #333 - Jared said in both motos he wanted to go faster and he knew that he could, but he also is still trying to protect the knee he injured at the last round. Jared rode smart, got solid finishes, and most importantly, he can still walk. He finished 18-15 for 16th overall.
Kyle Sackett - C Vet - #253 - Still frustrated from the mistakes I made in round 4, I just wanted to have fun, stay off the ground and that would lead to a better result. And it worked. Being very consistent I finished 18-18 for 18th overall.
Support Riders:
Nate Marr - A 200 - #84 - Nate had a good day as he continues to get comfortable in his new class. He finished 7-6 for 7th overall.
Colton McQuarrie - Mini B - #34 - Colton has been fighting what seemed like a never ending string of bad luck. This weekend his bike was problem free and he went 1-1 for 1st overall.
Cory Desrochers - C Vet - #556 - Cory had a good weekend despite a large rock off of someones rear tire splitting his chin open. Cory finished 4-5 for 5th overall.
Tyler Clattenburg - C Vet - #677 - Back in action at his first J Day since last year, Tyler did very well. He finished 11-14 for 13th overall.
