Hello,
The seemingly endless summer break has ended and the final stretch of the 2021 J Day season has begun. The weather was beautiful and the track conditions were excellent for round 10 which was held at Crowhill MX in Baldwinville, MA.
Team Riders:
Jon Gagnon - A Vet - #105 - Jon didn't have the greatest of starts in the first moto. After the first lap he crossed the line in 13th but was able to make his way up to 9th. After a much better start in the second moto Jon was fighting hard for position when another rider went down right in front of him and he crashed. Entering the woods in last on the first lap, Gagnon used every ounce of energy he had to move through the pack all the way to 7th. Jon finished 9-7 for 6th overall.
Jared Drouin - B Vet - #333 - Jared was pretty consistent in both motos. He got a couple of pretty good starts and was able to maintain position throughout the race. Other than one run in with a large tree that put him on the ground for a little bit, note the missing hand guard in the picture. Jared finished 10-9 for 9th overall.
Kyle Sackett - C Vet - #253 - After a bad start I was able to make quite a few passes on the first lap and move up to 15th out of 46. However, after expending most of my energy during said first lap I quickly dropped anchor and fell back to 18th. I got a much better start in the second moto and rode much more relaxed. After a full 30 minute long battle with two fellow Yamaha riders I crossed the line in 17th. I finished 18-17 for 16th overall.
Support Riders:
Nate Marr - A 200 - #84 - Nate was Mr. Consistency aboard his 125 finishing 7-7 for 7th overall.
Colton McQuarrie - Mini B - #34 - Coming off of his first ever GNCC podium, Colton finished 2-1 for 1st overall.
Cory Desrochers - C Vet - #556 - Cory had an awesome race with great starts and consistently fast lap times. Cory finished 2-2 for 2nd overall.
